Birds of the Upper Cahaba Trail

Attention Birding Enthusiasts!

The area of the Upper Cahaba River provides habitat for a great variety of birds. The trail has been developed to ensure rich and varied experiences for birders and to suggest opportunities for fun and educational outings for birding novices. Some birds can be found in the area throughout the year, but others are migratory, so each visit will offer new experiences. We invite you to bring your binoculars along and enjoy sights and sounds of the Upper Cahaba River.

Call for location--A large quilt show hosted by the Car Nut Museum Quilt Guild and the North West Alabama Arts Council.Various quilts, several catagories, both handmade and machine quilted. Door prizes as well as a Peoples Choice Award for the best three quilts. The quilts are displayed in the museum exhibit gallery among rare vintage, classic and muscle cars. Fri. & Sat., 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.; Sun., noon- 4 p.m.
