Jacksonville State University is extremely proud of its modern planetarium and observatory. JSU invites visitors to attend scheduled shows, programs and events or call for a special group appointment. Some show topics include Winter Stars, Stars of the Pharoahs, Love Stories in the Stars, St. Patty's Cosmic Serpents, Larry Cat in Space, and more! Often times, the zany world traveling character Dr. Darling (aka JSU's Renee Morrison) will appear at the planetarium show with live animals.

Visitors:
Planetarium is on the third floor of Martin Hall at Jacksonville State University. Call 256-782-5697 for more information or to make a group reservation. 
Facility:
JSU Planetarium is handicapped accessible; restrooms and water fountain available. Snack machines on first floor. 
Schedule:
Every second Saturday of the month (January - April) at 1:30 p.m. or by reservation.
