Jacksonville State University is extremely proud of its modern planetarium and observatory. JSU invites visitors to attend scheduled shows, programs and events or call for a special group appointment. Some show topics include Winter Stars, Stars of the Pharoahs, Love Stories in the Stars, St. Patty's Cosmic Serpents, Larry Cat in Space, and more! Often times, the zany world traveling character Dr. Darling (aka JSU's Renee Morrison) will appear at the planetarium show with live animals.

Facility:: JSU Planetarium is handicapped accessible; restrooms and water fountain available. Snack machines on first floor.
Schedule:: Every second Saturday of the month (January - April) at 1:30 p.m. or by reservation.
