Merrimack Hall Performing Arts Center was founded in 2006 by Debra and Alan Jenkins as a gift to the community of Huntsville. Located in the historic Merrimack Mill Village neighborhood, the building boasts a rich history of the textile and cotton industries, and is a vital part of the neighborhood's revitalization. Since 2007, Merrimack Hall has given more than $200,000 back to the community in the form of scholarships, outreach and tickets to the underserved. Past productions have included: Menopause The Musical, Billy Bob Thornton and The Boxmasters, Dionne Warwick, Lisa Loeb, Ball in the House, Wade Robson, Dixie's Tupperware Party, Altar Boyz, and many more.
