    A variety of music shows and local talent from February-November, such as Tribute to the Grand Ole Opry, Salute to Hee Haw, Keeping Country Alive and Classic Rock and Roll. First Saturdays feature local talent.

  • Altar of the New Testament and Founders Hall, The

    1840s Greek Revival Founders Hall at Athens State University, state’s oldest college. Altar’s elegant wood carvings tell story of New Testament.

  • Athens Bible School

    Every Thursday evening., the Barbershop Harmony Society Chapter Chorus, Southern Splendor, rehearses. The public is welcome to come and enjoy the music.

  • Athens Community Archery Park

    A fixed-distance range where all archers line up equally and shoot at targets positioned at different distances.

  • Delmore Days Music Festival

    This outdoor event honors the famous Delmore Brothers who performed with the Grand Ole Opry from 1930 to 1937. Bring a lawn chair and settle back for a day of outstanding bluegrass, gospel and country music. Arts and crafts vendors and delicious festival food will be there too, all under the shade trees of the beautiful Athens State University campus.
