Sweet Home Alabama

Scottsboro

If searching for bargains is your passion, Scottsboro, Ala., needs to be on your list of favorite places. That’s because this quaint town, located just 20 miles from the Tennessee state line in Northeast Alabama, is home to the Unclaimed Baggage Center, where you can search through the contents of lost and unclaimed airline luggage for deals that are out of this world. What’s more, Scottsboro’s Trade Days, a 125-year tradition held the first Monday of every month, is one of the top 20 events in the Southeast, according to the Southeast Tourism Society.
