Enterprise

Enterprise has a wealth of attractions, both historical and contemporary, to make it a destination for visitors year-round. The city’s Boll Weevil Monument is known worldwide, and Fort Rucker, the Historic Rawls Hotel, and the Army Aviation Museum also draw many visitors to this quiet, south Alabama town.

    Dedicated to Army aviators, whose gallantry and devotion to duty ensure America’s freedom.

  • Boll Weevil Monument

    World’s only monument to a pest. Boll weevils devoured two-thirds of Coffee County’s 1915 cotton crop, forcing local farmers to diversify and prosper.

  • Enterprise Recreational Complex

    Multipurpose field and sports complex. Lighted walking trails, children's playground area, scenic lake with wooden bridge, picnic table, pavilion, and splash pad.

  • Enterprise Welcome Center

    Replica of early 19th-century log home. Brochures and maps available. Guides answer questions and give tour of Little Red Schoolhouse nearby.

Enterprise Recreational Complex--Motorcycle ride begins and ends at recreational complex and is a fun way to experience the Enterprise fall weather. Prizes are given for the Ugliest, Meanest, and Prettiest bikes and lunch is provided for those who participate. Commemorative T-shirts are given to the first 200 registered riders. Costumes are optional for riders. 9:30 registration, first bike out at 10:00 a.m., last bike in at 2:00 p.m.
