Arab's Christmas in The Park

256-586-8128. www.arabcity.org. Free, except admission charged to Historic Village. Arab City Park & Arab Historic Village—Approximately 2 million lights transform the park into a magical wonderland. Festivities begin the Friday after Thanksgiving at 6 p.m., with tree lighting ceremony followed by Christmas music. Entertainment continues each Friday through December. During Historic Village Christmas, children will have an opportunity to visit and take pictures with Santa, decorate cookies and make ornaments. There will also be lots of carolers. Historic Village hours are 5:30-8 p.m.; the park remains open until 10:30 p.m.
