The Beer Festival is inside the Gulf Coast Oyster Festival. The Gulf Coast Oyster Festival is a four day festival that tourist from all over the world attend,live music all four days, art vendors, craftsmen, beer vendors, kids area, fresh seafood, oyster eating contests, an assortment of food from a variety of regions. This year’s festival is executed as the biggest and best Oyster festival within a five state region (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Louisiana). Combining great food, great music and life moments, the Gulf Coast Oyster Festival is a must attend event. The entertainment stage offers a diverse mix of musical genres and regional acts from country, to bluegrass. Additionally, the festival offers fun contests which include, a sing off, an oyster shucking contest, a recipe cook off and of course, an oyster eating challenge. The festival layout features three tents that include an “Oyster Education Tent” hosted by the Auburn University’s extension program. The educational tent highlights and presents oyster facts to attendees. The second tent is a Brew Fest tent that is provided by the beer sponsor and will feature local brews & beers, home brew workshops and taste areas. The final tent is a kids area that features children’s activities. The kids tent is open from 10a – 5pm each day of the festival.
