Fairhope Mullet Run

Join in Fairhope’s third annual “Mullet Run” held on Saturday, October 16 in downtown Fairhope. The starting point for the race mark’s the finished site of the Fairhope Museum of History and the Committee on Public Art's commissioned art fountain, “Mullet Run,” by artist Ameri'ca Jones-Gallaspy. This year’s Mullet Run 5K and 1-mi. certified race is the perfect start to a weekend of art in Fairhope. The Fairhope Mullet Run is organized by The BayART Project, funding Bay Area Youth Art (BAYA). The race will bring together art lovers and runners alike, to be a part of the completion and dedication of the fountain and to continue involvement of our community in support of public art and art education. A percentage of the race proceeds will be donated to BAYA for specific youth art projects in the Mobile Bay area.
