Founders' Day Parade, A Timeline of Cullman County History

Watch a great parade and learn history at the same time! Beginning with the first inhabitants of Cullman Co., the Echota Indians, and followed by the descendants of the first settlers of the various communities in our county in period costume & in horse-drawn wagons, you are sure to come away with more than little trivia! The first church and school will be represented, as will the 1962 state champion Cullman High football team and other state champion teams from our county in sports and academics. Queens and Princesses of the famed early Strawberry Festivals held in Cullman will ride in vintage cars. Representing the Future of Cullman County, the finale to the parade will be a Children's Parade, where children 8 and under will walk, ride their trike or bike, be pulled in a wagon, or held in their parent's arms. Come enjoy the fun!
