Come see our Alabama artist-made ornaments ... browse through a great selection of books on Alabama … collect our limited edition glass Capitol ornament ... register for door prizes to be given away each day … discover unusual holiday ornaments and gifts you will find nowhere else! Friday November 20th meet noted Alabama authors signing books from 10:00 - 2:00: Larry Powell, Black Barons of Birmingham; John Sledge, The Pillared City: Greek Revival Mobile; Beth Maynor Young and John Hall, Headwaters: A Journey on Alabama Rivers; Monica Moore, Twined Bags: An Historical Finger-Weaving Craft of Native Americans; and Nell Richardson, A Family Home: A History of the President's Mansion at Auburn University. While you are here Saturday, plan to take one of the free tours of the Capitol at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. Each tour lasts about 45 minutes and no reservations are necessary.
