Montgomery City-County Public Library Kicks Off the Big Read

The Montgomery City-County Public Library System kicks off the Big read, Alabama reads program featuring the Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain. Local dignitaries and celebrities will be reading excerpts from the novel and giving reflections on the era. You will be able to pick up a free copy of the book (while supplies last!) along with other materials to help you study and gain a better understanding of the characters. Refreshments from the era will be served.
