205-487-0000. Winfield--Mule Day festivities begin on Friday evening with music and dancing for all ages, great food, flea market booths, and downtown shopping specials. Saturday features the Mule Day Run at 7:30 a.m., a variety of food, musical entertainment, the Mule Day parade, car and tractor show, flea market, mule judging, arts and crafts, bake-n-auction, and a carnival. A Civil War reenactment, “Skirmish at Luxapalila,” will also take place at Ivan K. Hill Park, with battles on Saturday and Sunday, and a period ball Saturday evening at the Winfield Community Center.
