Palmerdale's New Deal Memorabilia Exhibition

In recognition of the 75th Anniversary of the building of Palmerdale--the first of five NEW DEAL's farmers' resettlement communities in Alabama--the Palmerdale Homesteads Community Center (PHCC) will be hosting a day where residents, former residents and other interested people can bring memorabilia from the NEW DEAL era to show-and-tell. Effort will be made to document and record as much information as possible for use by future generations studying the NEW DEAL. All parties with pictures or artifacts from any of the five farmers resettlement communities are encouraged to attend and particpate in the day's activities.
