Prattville Independence Day Celebration, 7th annual

Join us for a star-spangled salute to our country's freedom on Friday, July 4th. The day kicks off with a family-fun parade at 9:00 a.m., from the Autauga Co. Courthouse, through downtown and ending at Stanley-Jensen Stadium. The Lion's Club BBQ begins at 10:00 a.m. and will feature great BBQ, live entertainment and arts & crafts. That event ends at 3:00 p.m. The annual Cardboard Boat Races begins at 10:30 a.m. at Pratt Pool. Call (334) 361-3640 for more information. The City's annual Fireworks Spectacular will be held later that evening. The gates to Stanley-Jensen Stadium open at 5:00 p.m. Food vendors on site. Music begins at 5:00 p.m. and a patriotic program begins at 7:30 p.m. Fireworks begin at dark.
