Battle-Friedman House

Historic Site

This 1835 Greek Revival mansion built as townhouse by Alfred Battle, wealthy planter/businessman. It was later owned by Bernard Friedman, Hungarian immigrant. It has been restored and is beautifully furnished as city cultural center/house museum. It is available for weddings and receptions.
