After 20 years spent working in other people's restaurants, Jason "Big Daddy" Newsom opened Big Daddy's Grill right on Fish River in Fairhope. Complete with a riverside patio, rocking chairs and frequent live music, Big Daddy's is known for its po'boys and the Big Daddy burger, made with Swiss and American cheeses, sautéed onions, bacon and a half-pound beef patty.
