Black Warriors' Path/Mitchell Trace

Historic Site

This path was a removal route for 2,500 Creek Indians. It was traveled by frontiersman Davy Crockett during Creek Indian War. It ran from Ft. Mitchell in Russell County to Fort Hampton in Limestone County.
