Brown Chapel AME Church

Historic Site

You're invited to visit the first AME church in state (1866). It was the headquarters for blacks during Voting Rights movement. A starting point for Selma-to-Montgomery marchers, the Selma to Montgomery National Historic Trail/All-American Road begins here.
