Chambers County Courthouse

Chambers County Lake

180-acre fishing lake located 4.5 miles southeast of LaFayette. Stocked with bream, bass, crappie, catfish, carp. Camping available (self-contained campers and tent camping). Picnic pavilion, call for fee.

Golden Eagle Syrup

On Oct. 28, 1928, first can of Golden Eagle Syrup was produced in Fayette by Mr. and Mrs. Victor Patterson. Since then, Golden Eagle has become a favorite of generations.
