Constructed in 1903, the present structure was the fourth courthouse built on the site, following Greenville's selection as the county seat in December 1821.

Confederate Park

Historic Site

Established in 1897 as Greenville's first park. A monument was erected in 1903 dedicated to Butler County residents who lost their lives in the Civil War.

Pioneer Cemetery

Many of the early settlers of the area are buried within here, including Capt. William Butler for whom Butler County is named.

Railroad Depot

Historic Site

1910 Spanish Revival architectural style structure with red tile roof, wide overhanging eaves and stucco walls. Concrete steps and iron fencing added in 1928.

Ritz Theatre

Now used for theatre productions, pageants and concerts, the art deco style downtown icon was built in 1935 as a movie house.

St. Thomas Episcopal Church

Built in 1896, this church's architectural features have remained virtually unchanged until a rose window was installed in 1986. A true treasure to see.
