Ruffner Mountain Nature Preserve

Zoological Park

A 1,000-acre preserve with native plants, animals, geological formations, wonderful vistas and ore-mining heritage. A hiking trail and overlook offer a beautiful view of the city. Maps are available. The naature center includes exhibits and gift shop and family programs.
