What To See & Do

Wiregrass Festival of Murals

Historic Site

As proclaimed by the Governor, Dothan is a Mural City. Murals painted on many downtown buildings by nationally and internationally known muralists showcase early scenes of local and state history. One of the murals features Dr. George Washington Carver who invented more than 600 uses for the peanut and helped area farmers to save their crops.
