Talladega National Forest
Beginning Bird Identification
On this driving tour through Talladega National Forest, you will stop at birding “hot spots” in the forest and learn to identify birds by their songs, calls, and by sight. Don’t miss this chance to view the unique birds of the Shoal Creek Ranger District including the endangered Red-cockaded Woodpecker. Spotting scopes and binoculars will be provided. Pre-registration is required. CEUs available upon request.
