The Leeds Arts Council, a 501(c)3 organization, owns and maintains the Theatre and Arts Center in Leeds, Alabama. Here we house an art gallery, classroom space and an auditorium for community events. The LAC annually sponsors 12 Artist Receptions, 6 Poetry Readings, a Spring Comedy Community Play, a Summer Broadway Musical, a Fall Mystery Dinner Theatre, several Community Chorus Concerts, Children's Musical Theatre Workshops, Jane Culbreth Library programs, Book Signings, a Variety Show, an Evening of Dinner and Love Songs, a Holiday Tablescapes, a Fashion Show and various One-Day Workshops, Concerts and Symposiums.
