The City of Selma and the Selma-Dallas County Tourism & Convention Bureau opened a new downtown Visitor Center housed in the Selma Public Library. It is open Monday through Saturday with iformation available on Sundays from an outdoor, self-serve brochure rack containing information on locations and self-guided tours. The library, located at the corner of Selma Avenue and Broad Street, is just blocks away from the famous Edmund Pettus Bridge and is in the largest contiguous historic district in the state.
