Auburn Collects: Works From the Collection of Dwight and Helen Carlisle

January 26, 2013 to May 18, 2013

Auburn Collects: Selected Works from the collection of Dwight and Helen Carlisle. Exhibitions are a vehicle for art exploration and diversity. Our permanent collection is focused primarily on representative work from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries, including American modernism. In addition to our permanent collection, JCSM offers changing exhibitions that showcase a wide range of cultures and time periods. Exhibitions are selected with the intention of enhancing the wide range of visual art offered to visitors. JCSM exhibits art from Alabama, the south, the United States and around the world. Exhibitions enable our visitors to come back again and again always partaking in a new art experience. Through its collections and programs, the museum supports the tripartite mission of the university in instruction, research and outreach.
