Cattyshack is different from the cat cafes that have popped up over the years! We may not have coffee, but we are a nonprofit that uses the funds from your reservations to rescue cats from shelters and homeless cats in our community. All of our cats live in foster homes, not on site. Cattyshack is located inside Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment, the largest privately-owned arts facility in the United States—once a working textile mill and now home to 200+ artists, makers, small businesses, galleries, and studios, so there is much more to do, see and eat before or after your visit! Your lounge reservation donation directly supports our nonprofit cat rescue by helping cover care costs like food, medication, vetting, and enrichment for the cats in our foster homes. You don’t have to be adopting to make a difference—simply spending time in the lounge provides essential funding that keeps our rescue operating. During your visit, you can support us even further by making a direct donation, choosing Cattyshack merchandise, or exploring handmade cat-inspired art and crafts created by our very own volunteers.
