Gadsden Museum of Art

The Gadsden Museum of Art and History promotes an appreciation of the visual arts by hosting a variety of changing art exhibitions each year, including solo artist shows, group shows, and the display of pieces from the permanent collection​. The Museum fosters an awareness and appreciation of local history through the exhibition of artifacts, photographs, and decorative arts of historical significance for the Gadsden and Etowah County area. During Covid, the museum is taking precautions according with the state's ordinance including the requirement of face coverings while in the building, maintaining social distancing between visitors, and hand sanitizing stations place throughout the building.
