Perfect camping location Gantt Lake for those who want to escape the harsh North winters for relaxing Southern climates year-round.Our park is located in south central Alabama on Gantt Lake, 9 miles north of Andalusia and approximately 30 miles north of the Florida line. This location provides the perfect climate for campers seeking refuge from the harsh winter months up north. Gantt Lake is a 2700 acre impoundment on the Conecuh River and is the second largest freshwater lake in south Alabama. Impounded since the 1930's as a hydroelectric generating dam, this lake has great fishing for Bass, Bluegill, Shell cracker, Crappie and Catfish. Lake activities include boating, fishing, skiing and swimming. Beach front, fishing piers and boat launches are located within the park.Long term RV Lots available.
