Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Highland Oaks

This 36-hole RTJ Golf Trail complex features some of the longest and most classically designed holes on the Trail. Gently rolling terrain with numerous creeks, wetlands, tall pines and beautiful oaks define the layouts, but each nine has a different personality. The Highlands course is relatively open with several lakes in play on four of the nine holes, including a peninsula green; the Magnolia nine boasts specimen magnolia trees and is reached via a 1,000 foot long wooden bridge spanning a marsh; Marshwood has been made famous (or notorious) by its behemoth par-5 sixth, which stretches to 701 yards from the tips; and the Short Course, a nine-hole par 3, has three water holes and possibly the best putting greens in the South.
