Four Five Points, South neighborhood women, Eugenia Gillespy, Rosa Eubank, Loula Campbell and Sarah Louise Wilson, invited the Rev. John D. Simpson, presiding elder of the Birmingham District of the Methodist Episcopal, Church, South to tea at the Wilson home in early February of 1903 to discuss the need for a Methodist Sunday School in the neighborhood.
