Historic Downtown Pell City

The Heart of Pell City is a group of local small business owners, community leaders, and culturally involved residents. It is our mission to revitalize our Historic Downtown, enhance incentives for small businesses and franchises, and open the bridge between small businesses and city leadership. We are also proud to help support other local non-profit groups in the area. Come visit the Historic Downtown Pell City shopping district. Pell City was officially incorporated in 1890. See architecture dating from 1890-1940, each building with a unique story to tell. The buildings only lend more character to the local shops, which include clothing boutiques, talented local artists and craftspeople, home interior decor, custom printing, jewelry, one-of-a-kind gifts, antiques, and delicious homemade edibles at the local cafes.
