James Oates Park

James Oates Park features two 6-field baseball/softball complexes.   Both complexes feature synthetic turf infields making each field in the park adaptable for either baseball or softball. The park is home to Dothan American League youth baseball association and the City of Dothan’s girl’s fast pitch program. Each complex features ample parking, a concessions building, and a press box. James Oates Park also features a community pavilion, community playground, and a 1-mile paved and lit walking trail. The park can be accessed via two entrances: 371 Taylor Road and 798 Campellton Highway.
