Join us for Art Night! Art Night is our monthly FREE event that celebrates art and artists. Join us for exhibition openings, Artist Talks, open artists’ studios, live music in the courtyard, extended Gallery Shop hours, a craft for children, and pop-up shops from local vendors. These events occur the first Thursday each month from 5-8pm and are FREE, family friendly, and open to the public.

Kentuck’s Saturday Art Market is your chance to shop with amazing local artists and explore Kentuck's campus in Historic Downtown Northport. There's a craft station and a drum cart for the children, so you can bring the whole family for a fun-filled Saturday. This event occurs the third Saturday each month from 9:30am-2:00pm and is free (and family friendly) to attend, but we always encourage you to support our local artists. While you're out, why not spend the morning exploring Northport? Located in the heart of Historic Downtown Northport on the corner of Fifth Street and Main Avenue, Kentuck's Gallery Shop is a year-round retail space that represents approximately 150 artists from around the country, and 60% of those artists are local to Alabama. Kentuck has a rich 52-year history as a nationally known crossroads of creativity and community. The two-day festival has its roots in folk art and features 270+ artists, live music, spoken word, activities for children, folk and contemporary craft demonstrations, food trucks, and local craft brews. ​ Featured in numerous publications, Kentuck Festival of the Arts was most recently recognized by Alabama Department of Tourism as one of the top-ten events to attend in Alabama in 2018 and by Alabama Magazine as one of the “Best of Bama 2022.” Kentuck has also been featured in Smithsonian Magazine, Southern Living, American Style Magazine, and National Geographic Traveler. In 2018, the Festival was named 5th in the nation (based on artists' self-reported sales) in the category of Classic and Contemporary Craft Shows by Sunshine Artists Magazine.
