Michael Tucker Park Campground

Located on Weaver Road where the Chief Ladiga Trail connection begins in Anniston, Michael Tucker Park has a bathroom with showers, picnic area with shelter and a parking area for patrons wishing to enjoy the scenic trail. A spacious cabin with fire place, meeting/sleeping area, kitchen, restrooms and recreational area is also located in the park. This is an ideal location for family gatherings and business retreats. The campground features 16 primitive camping spaces, grills, a water supply, electricity and fire ring. *Reservation is required.

Chief Ladiga Trail

The Chief Ladiga Trail is Alabama’s first extended rails to trails project. It extends over 33 miles and connects the cities of Anniston, Weaver, Jacksonville, and Piedmont as it travels through Calhoun and Cleburne Counties.
