Sin City Tour in Phenix City

Phenix City holds a controversial history. Once known as “Sin City, a community entrapped in the grasp of the infamous “Dixie Mafia,” where ruthless gangsters, pimps, thieves, and cheaters ran amok for years. These decadent activities finally met its course through the murder of one stalwart citizen, who looked to take down the corrupt operation. The state declared martial rule. Soldiers dismantled the regime.

Let's walk along the roads where playing cards flipped and roulette wheels spun. See the location where the notorious murder occurred and where the tide turned against the criminals. You can also traverse by the homes of some of the main characters in this good-over-evil story. A story which still haunts and disturbs generations of families and local citizens.

Phenix City was also the site of the Civil War Battle of Girard/Columbus. You will see where the skirmishes occurred.

Physical address mentioned is simply the starting location for tours. Booking must be done either online or by phone. Tickets starting at $20.
