The Unclaimed Baggage Museum

The Unclaimed Baggage Museum is located within the Unclaimed Baggage retail store, the nation's only lost luggage retailer and popular attraction in Scottsboro. The museum features 100+ of the most unique, interesting items ever found in a lost suitcase throughout the store's 50+ year history. It's often said that Unclaimed Baggage is like an archeological dig. Unusual treasures discovered inside suitcases tell real stories about real people and cultures over time and from all parts of the world. The museum features the most weird and wonderful things unpacked from lost luggage such as:

  • Hoggle, the beloved Jim Hensen puppet from the fantasy film Labyrinth
  • Ancient Egyptian artifacts 
  • A basketball signed by Michael Jordan 
  • Medieval suits of armor
  • Musical instruments from all over the world, 
  • And more! 

The Unclaimed Baggage Museum is free of charge and is open during Unclaimed Baggage regular store hours. Museum brochures are available for self-guided tours. What treasures will you discover?
