Birds play a vital role in our ecosystem, and the Garden is a great place to learn about and see birds of all kinds. During the month of February, we show our appreciation for our feathered friends with events and educational programs for the whole family! The Garden is listed as a birding hotspot in eBird, a global birding data project of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, and its Lewis Birding Trail features a rich diversity of local and migrating birds. From the Great Backyard Bird Count to early-morning bird walks, the Garden will be offering opportunities for expert and novice birders alike.
