40th Annual Fort Mims Reenactment & Living History

August 29th, 2026 - August 30th, 20269:00am-3:00pm daily

During the commemorative event set for August 29-30, 2026, volunteers will dress in period clothing to re-enact the Battle of Burnt Corn followed by the Battle of Fort Mims. You can witness living history as well as enjoy period music, arts, crafts, covered wagons, tomahawk throwing, blacksmithing, concessions, dancing and 1800s cooking demonstrations.
