Tuscumbia

The Helen Keller Festival is a community event in Tuscumbia, AL celebrating the life and accomplishments of Helen Keller. Inspired by her passion and drive, we strive to promote education and deaf/blind awareness and accessibility. Our goal is to provide a positive environment full of enrichment and fun for the whole family through an event filled with live music, education, arts and crafts, food, and activities for children.

The Helen Keller Festival kicks off on Thursday, June 25th with a parade down Main Street followed by a street party. The weekend includes headliner musical artists, art and crafts, athletic events, and a car and truck show. Other events include Keller Kids educational activities, historic tours and trolley rides.
