September 6th, 202510am-11am

What would you do if your town was cut off from grocery and clothing stores? How would you adapt? Join us on this one-hour guided walking tour of the Clear Creek nature trail where you will learn how the townspeople of Cahawba adapted to their ports being blockaded during the Civil War. You will learn how to identify the various trees and plants that they used as substitutes for the common goods that we take for granted.
