    Lake Martin is easily accessible from several major cities in Alabama. From Birmingham, take US-280 E for about 75 miles until you reach Alexander City. From Montgomery, head north on US-231, then turn east on AL-63 N toward Lake Martin. If you're coming from Auburn or Opelika, US-280 W will take you straight toward Dadeville and the eastern side of the lake. Once you're in the area, signs and local maps will help guide you to public access points, marinas, and popular parks around the lake.
