As the first points of contact with more than 6 million visitors each year, our eight Alabama Welcome Centers greet travelers with genuine Sweet Home Alabama hospitality.
Our mission: To assist and inform the traveling public of the depth and breadth of an Alabama travel experience in a way that enhances and potentially extends their visit. In doing so, we increase the overall awareness of our communities and our state while adding value to the traveler’s experience. Our welcome centers provide:
- Free copies of the annual ALABAMA VACATION GUIDE & CALENDAR OF EVENTS
- Informational brochures from thousands of destinations, attractions, accommodations and events
- Accommodations reservation service for travelers
- Personalized trip planning assistance and directions
